The bay of Trašte is not more than 8 kilometres away
from the centre of Tivat. It is one of the most isolated
spots of Boka Kotorska and the Adriatic. The beach
itself, except as Plavi Horizont, is also known by its
popular name of ''Pržna''. Its microclimate makes it
suitable for opening bathing season much sooner and
closing it long after the usual bathing season, from
April to November.

The location and nature, a wide stretch of fine sand
surrounded by lush conifers and olive groves, and
its long shallow embrace with the sea, make this
beach one of the most beautiful on the Adriatic.
Crystal clear sea, four kilometres long walk path
around the cove, with secluded spots to rest and
easily accessible natural inlets giving the sense of
unrestrained contact and close link with nature, and
a wide range of services and amenities enabled this
beach to be awarded Blue Flag. |
